male figure has the shorter wig and is being massaged on his heart by a 'Ba' bird which has a human head with a birds body. A ba was known as a soul bird and represented the departed personality.
The goddess Isis and Nepthys are represented at either ends of the bed in the form of a standing figure and a small crouching relief of Isis holding a 'Shen' symbol.
